| | | | There is no set list.. it changes from dealer to dealer, city to city, state to state.
With my recent 20k service, there was over $100 difference between the different dealers (so over 50% more for the same thing).
There is a thread here that people have listed what their prices are, and where they were from. Have a search and you'll find it.

Thanks... | There is a service diary thread that has been fairly up to date. Run a search and you should find it.

Thanks... | yeah they aer all about $300 because all mazda 3s have same problems so costs same amount to fix each car, meaning that this thread actually has some real life relevance. Also darwin is closer to japan so generally service costs are half as much.

| | | | That doesn't explain Adelaide prices being low though.

The 'consumables' in your car aren't covered such as the clutch, tyres, brake pads etc. but that's not a comprehensive list. Have a look in the owners manual for all your answers

| | | | It's probably worth bringing your own oil to the service, as they tend to charge an arm and a leg for it. |

| | | Taking my 3 in for a 10k km service tomorrow... got quoted $250 with the 'genuine Mazda synthetic oil'.
I found some website (which I can't recall right now) which said the Mazda 3 service cost could be anywhere between $150 and $250...
Wonder if they include a rotation? I sure need one, the outside edges on the fronts are a bit low compared to the back |

They generally will put the two best tyres on the front wheels. |

I think he might have thought I was talking about alignment and balance. I'm not quite sure I want the dealer service mechanics touching my wheel nuts - quite often the service mechanics torque them up too tight and as I have seen on two cars now, if the wheel nuts are overtorqued you can warp rotors. Getting them off is even more fun . Quote:

| | | | also some dealers do give loyalty discounts to peeps who always bring their car in for service (you might have to ask for one also), it also makes warranty claims that much easier as they have a record of whatever that was done on your car.
