Exclamation Tribute v6 cylinder arrangement

Can anyone tell me which is the No 6 plug on the Tribute V6 - early model - a Ford America engine, I think? I assume it is the extreme passenger side plug on the front bank.

Also, I have had to replace the auto transmission at 140,000 Km. Dealer said ATF "burnt" only 40,000 Km since last changed. I suspect that it was not changed at 100,000 as stated on service invoice. Any comments?

do you know what ATF they put in it? or if they put enough in?
the gearbox should hold appox. 9Lt of fluid.
Mercon ATF XT-2-QDX is what mazda use on tributes when they service the transmission.

I got a flush for 231 bucks for my tribute in waterloo, before I went, I called them if they use Mercon, they said, yes. after I got the invoice, it is written: castrol DIII. I argued with the manager, and he promise to do it again by using mercon V. I contacted both Mazda and Ford, both are not helpful.searched the web, said mercon and mercon V is not compatible. the dealer do not even has mercon. this is not a good experience with Mazda and ford as well.

Never buy Mazda

Major problems after new transmission installed by Mazda Dealer.
1. Starter motor attachment bolts not tensioned - left wife stranded over Xmas.
2. Bottom clamp not installed on lower radiator hose - left me stranded when all coolant dumped on road.
3. Severe power steering fluid leak - half litre in 3 days.
SOLD TRIBUTE
VERY HAPPY but much poorer
