The exit plan is pretty standard, it all depends on how long you had contributed in the business and you are paid accordingly plus any unused stat annual leaves, really, it is not that rosy, just bits of crumbs.

holidays are great for teenager work with employers onces again ripping off workers by hiring temp youth rates workers and pay no nothing except basic.

Oh well. The economy is bad at the moment, just read that big holden dealership in rockdale on princes is folding and 70 peeps got laid. (off)

with also more peeps to be laid (off) into the next year with 10,000 on the chopping block in banking industry alone.
-----
Also some piccie from Los Angeles will be put up on Picazz soon , mostly on rental car and Petrol prices piccie.
-----
*******************

sorry it has taken so long

But the quiz question was

exactly how long has PV worked in the airline industry by the time he pulls the pin?

The first correct answer will win a special double pass at any cinema in Australia for the world premiere of

Australia starring Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman.
The movie will premiere in Australia on November 26 and is partly sponsored by the employer, hence the free double pass for a lucky omc peep.

The double pass is in the form of a special commorative post card style pass.

As we all know the pulling of the pin is now accelerated to next month, so these members who had their answers before can change them and answers will be accepted until Tuesday 18 Nov where the winner will be announced past midnight 18 into 19 Wed Nov.

Other members might want to join in to win this much anticipated movie

peeps the winner of the Australia double pass will be announced tonight past midnight and any members who wish to join can still piggy back in now before 11 pm tonight.

There is a celebrities premiere tonight on george street, all the streets are closed in CBD in sydney already in place. This is not open to public.

However for common folks like you and me, we can only watch it on 26th Nov when it opens to the public.

There is consensus that this is one very good movie for those who enjoy arts.

Also Picazz will be updated just pass midnight tonight with new netbook showoff and some piccies from last week from Los Angeles, all non sceneries piccies.

thanks for all your patience.

Nice new netbook PV.

I take it you got Vista installed afterwards? or is Samsung's sticker wrong?

the sticker on the bottom says it should have OEM Windows XP but on your pics it's running Vista?

yes kansei, the stock was XP chinese as it was bought in Beijing, there are no English softwares in China.

Then I bought my very own Home Basic Vista here at Miranda Mall and installed it.

Surprisingly, the drivers were not difficult to find.

I had to pay another $130 for oem Home Basic and also another $60 for additional 1 gig ram as stock only comes with 1 gig ram, actually I got a 2 gig as the slot can only take one candy stick.

I also got a really cheap emachines lappy in Los Angeles for general use as it was dirt cheap, it was on sale for US$ 299.99 plus 10% tax and it has a larger screen 14.1 but it is not a netbook, it has an AMD athlon 64 single core with home basic. But the price of it has risen since I bought it, it is now US$ 499.99 plus 10% tax, just checked they have cut the price to US$379.99 plus tax

so I paid 299.99 plus tax US dollars for this at the same best Buy store in South Coast Plaza, Los Angeles

kansei they are only cheapo in America cos of so much competition and so many discount store, in Australia, we still face high prices in technology becos there are not enough competition and practically no big discount stores like Sams Club, WalMart, etc.

actually alanngliz, the battery life is one of the best I have ever experienced, even better than the Dell Mini 9

Also I noticed Asus is now releasing N10 which is a better version of the eeepc all use Atom chip and get this: one variant actually runs Vista Ultimate on 2 gigs ram and a measley 1.6 ATOM chip (these are single core, not duo) so I wonder how asus managed to make it run Vista Ultimate.

And of course u know it will be available at a rip off price.

You see unlike assembling a car using parts, assembling a puter is cheaper from parts bought and built rather than buying a brand name item.

The biggest rip off in lap tops is SONY VAIO.
thousands and thousands of dollars in asking price for the same old shit you can get made by Acer or even brandless types.

And yes, kaotic guessed the netbook correctly. Kaotic also likes samsung stuff so it was not difficult for him to guess it right.

BTW, kaotic also tells me he will be holidaying when Australia premieres, and had kindly ask me to give the prize to the runner up...soooo, the double pass goes to the next nearest correct answer.

THIS MEANS ALANNGLIZ YOU ARE THE WINNER OF THE DOUBLE PASS TO AUSTRALIA, I WILL SEND IT TO YOU VIA POST.

hmm crackman, if u are coming into Australia on a flight, the customs forms and the immigration form are both in just one orange form, it ask all the questions like do u have any to declare, are you carrying etc...
I think each adult has 900 dollars to bring in but most peeps buy more than that esp since our money is so small these days.

the airline will give u the forms before you arrive.

hmm I really do not now where else u can find those forms, in the aircraft we have abundant supply but no one seemed to take more than 1.

I do not use those forms myself as flight crew have different forms, ours is white in color.

your dad will have plenty of time when he is in the aircraft. Anyways it's all yes no questions, unlike the american customs forms, u need not list the things you buy or carry, if the customs officer wants to know than they pull u aside for an inspection.

otherwise it's a yes no yes no tick here tick there type form.

Is language the thing your dad is worried about? I think they have forms in all sorts of languages, as well, just not sure if they have it on the plane.

yes they have all languages in the customs/immigration form in the aircraft. Depending on where the plane is coming from, so if the flight is from japan the forms are in japanese from Buenos Aires, than the forms in Spanish.
