1. No Spam

Spam includes advertising. warez sites, money making free signup programs, ad killers, adult sites, anything illegal, get rich quick schemes, paid to surf ads, link exchanges, webrings, offers to host people, begging people to vote for your site in the latest contest, advertising for your forum etc.

Private (personal) advertising in the "For Sale or Trade" forum is allowed, but no corporate or company advertising is allowed, (see Rule 5.)

2. Put Content into your posts

Pointless posts will result in the post being removed. This includes posts created simply to increase your post count, this is considered "SPAM". (See Rule 1)

All threads must be appropriately titled. Do NOT title a thread as "LOOK HERE" or use symbols such as ">", "*" etc. without text. Do not use symbols or any other type of gimmick to attract readers, this will be edited by a Moderator and/or Administrator.Please try to type in a coherent manner. We don't expect every post you make to be 100orrect but "SMS" chat-style grammar is not acceptable. Do not type in upper case! (CAPSLOCK).

3. Keep it Clean

No linking to inappropriate Web sites. This board is intended for all ages, but please keep the board clean at all times. If a Moderators and/or Administrators decides that your site is inappropriate, please do not argue with them. Inappropriate posts/links will be removed.

Censored words: Some words on this forum may be censored, these words will be replaced with (*) symbols. If you feel a word should be added to this list please email us with your request.

4. Images and Signatures

Images in signatures and posts are allowed, but must be no larger than 800x600 for a post and 475x80 for a signature. Remember larger files make the forum harder to browse by Dial-Up (56K) users. It is recommended that you post link to the images, this makes it easier for everyone. Linking to other forums is expressly prohibited and is not allowed. Anyone caught breaking this rule will have the link removed immediately.

Please keep signatures to a maximum of 2 to 4 lines, small images are allowed.

5. Buying and Selling

In order to post a new topic in "Buy/Sell" section you must have a minimum post count of 30. Posts can be removed without warning by OzMazdaClub.com Moderators and/or Administrators. (Spaming to increase your post count in order to access this section will result in a warning).

Posts in the for sale section should be labeled "WTB" for Wanted To Buy items or "FS" for items For Sale. OzMazdaClub.com reserves the rights to remove any posts should they not be labeled correctly.

You must specify a price for all For Sale posts.

Once your item has been sold please update your original post and append "SOLD" to the end of the post and the subject, so that people browsing the forums can easily determine what is still available.

If contacted by a Moderator and/or Administrator to provide further details, proof of ownership or other such documents for an item(s) listed in the Buy/Sell section, you must respond in a timely fashion. Failure to do so, or produce adequate information/reasoning will result in an instant deletion of your thread.

Companies/organisations are not permitted to advertise on the OzMazdaClub.com forums/website unless that company/organisation is a sponsor of OzMazdaClub.com.

Group buys are permitted but maybe be removed if they are against any of OzMazdaClub.com's rules or regulations.

6. Warnings

The OzMazdaClub.com forums have a warning system. This warning system is as follows: after the second warning you will be given a temporary ban of 2 weeks; on the Third and Final warning your account will be banned permanently. If the breach is of greater significance your account will be banned immediately.

Warnings can be issued by any Moderators and/or Administrators as they see fit and are usually discussed by Moderators and Administrators prior to the warning being issued. However, if a serious breach occurs your account may be banned immediatley and without consultation of other Moderators and/or Administrators.

7. General Member Behaviour

Keep in mind that it's up to individual Moderators what appropriate and inappropriate forum behavior is. If a Moderator bans you, don't complain to an Administrator or another Moderator. We are under no obligation to reply to you if you question a banning or warning.

Do not be rude to or impersonate members and/or Moderators and/or Administrators of OzMazdaClub.com.

Harassment based on sexual orientation, gender, race, colour, religious views, or simply because of differing opinions is not allowed within the forums. You are free to express your opinions here within the forums, as long as you keep it civil. You may not post a message that is intended to embarrass, humiliate or harass another person or group of people.

No 'bashing' of Police or Government Officials. We like to think that for the most part we have a good relationship with the various Police forces Australia wide, we do not want to gain a reputation as trouble makers due to immature online slander. Additionally, do not discuss any illegal activities you or a friend has participated in. No stories about your recent industrial area drift night, high speed freeway runs etc

Don't post another person's personal information! Posting someone else's phone number or address is not acceptable. You will be banned. You may post someone's blog or website, because Internet sites are public domain. Just keep the real life information off the forums.

Do not ask Moderators and/or Administrators for information about another member. Member’s accounts are subject to the privacy act and as such, information is unable to be passed on.

Please do not ask if you or your friend can be a Moderator. Moderators are appointed by the Administrators when/if they are required.

8. Miscellaneous

You may save information from this website for personal use and reference ONLY. No information from this website is to be used in other website for any reason (without permission). Doing so would call for legal action as it is a breach of copyright

OzMazdaClub.com takes no responsibility for posts made by its members, please take care when acting upon technical information found on this site as there are no guarantees that damage will not be sustained to your vehicle.

OzMazdaClub.com regularly clears out inactive accounts on the forum, if your account is in-active or has a zero post count after 3 months of joining OzMazdaClub.com then it will be automatically removed from the system, if this is the case for your account you will need to sign up again to access the forums.

9. Use the "Report Bad Post" button

Report Post - This forum feature is intended to allow members of the OzMazdaClub.com forums to advise Moderators and Moderators of posts that are suspected or known to be in breach of any of the rules mentioned on this page, this allows you to help keep OzMazdaClub.com a great on-line community. Once reported your information/report will be made available for all Moderators and Moderators to view and follow up upon. Excessive reported posts by a user can be regarded as abuse of the report post function. Warnings for this may be issued by Moderators and/or Administrators of OzMazdaClub.com.

10. Duplicate Accounts

Duplicate Accounts are not permitted on OzMazdaClub.com. By this we mean 1 member having 2 different logins. If this is detected, The account created after the original account will be removed immediately. This may be with or without notice from a Moderators and/or Administrators.
